The investment plan concerns the installation and operation of eighteen (18) wind farms with a total capacity of 360 MW in the southern part of the island of Evia, as well as the accompanying projects that constitute the necessary infrastructure for the construction and operation of the wind farms. The wind farms are to be interconnected with the National Electric Energy Transmission System (N.E.E.T.S.) through an underwater cable of approximately 69 km length, which will start from the "Evangelismos-Komiton" point on the eastern side of the former Kafireos Community and will end up in Attica and specifically in Lavrio’s HVC (High Voltage Centre).
