The project concerns an HVDC interconnection between Egypt and Greece and consists of a submarine HVDC cable (±525 kV) and complementary infrastructure required for the operation of the link. The GREGY route is a direct connection from Wadi-El-Natroon (Egypt) to the Attica region (Greece) with a length of approximately 954 km.
