The investment consists of the construction of a natural gas pipeline from the offshore area of Cyprus to the Greek territory, via Crete. It will be able to transport gas National Gaw Spystem the new deposits of the South-Eastern Mediterranean to Greece and through the ESFA and/or Interconnecting Pipelines (IGB and IGI) to the rest of Europe. The pipeline΄s starting point will bethe underwater areas off Cyprus, then it will reach Crete and continue to the Peloponnese with a total length of approximately 1200 km. The land sections of the pipeline from the Peloponnese to Epirus will have approximately the length of 480km.
