The project is a hybrid station that exploits the wind production of 26 wind turbines (RES units) and combines it with controlled operation and storage (pumped storage), with the aim of supplying the electricity network of Crete of with a total annual produced energy of 226.56 GWh.
Sub-Project A, with a total installed power of 78MW, consists of two (2) Wind Farms (A/P: A.S.P.H.E – Wind Power Generation Stations), located at the region of Lassithi in the area of Crete.
Sub-project B, with a rated capacity of 75 MW, constists of a pumped-controlled production system (Controlled Energy Production and Storage System) that exploits the water power potential of the existing Potamoi dam of Amari at the Municipalities of Arkadi and Syvritos in the Region of Crete.
